With Zach Charbonnet sidelined by an ACL tear, rookie first-round pick Price will likely shoulder a heavy load in the backfield throughout September, providing one of the biggest wild cards of the evening.

As bettors eye a tight spread favoring Seattle by roughly three points, much of the intrigue centers on whether Drake Maye can solve a defensive unit that dominated him months ago. The Seahawks may be missing key pieces and lacking media hype, but they possess the confidence of champions ready to defend their turf. Whether this meeting proves more competitive than its predecessor remains to be seen, but with playoff narratives already beginning to form on opening night, neither side intends to walk away from Wednesday’s game feeling unsatisfied.
